With all the hullabaloo surrounding the release (or NOT) of the BBM for Android (first) and for iOS (second), a number of individuals got their fast paws on it before it was speedily yanked from both the Google Play Store and the Apple iTunes Store.
Well, you can download the iOS version HERE.
Instructions:
1. Download the ~30mb .ipa file.
2. Move the file into the ~/iTunes/iTunes Media/Mobile Applications folder
3. Launch iTunes (make sure it is the latest one), you can download HERE
4. Connect your iPhone (3GS, 4, 4S, 5, 5C, 5S) running iOS (6, 7)
5. Click on the iPhone inside iTunes
6. Click on the Apps tab
7. Scroll down to the BBM app on the list, click INSTALL
8. Click the SYNC button at the bottom right corner of the iTunes Window
9. Wait for it to finish, then eject the iPhone
10. Open the BBM app on the iPhone (requires WiFi for first use)
11. Login or Sign up for a Blackberry ID
12. Once you are logged in and activated, you will be assigned a BB PIN
13. You can choose to migrate your old device or set up as new
14. Enjoy your BBM for iOS
